"Come and Follow Jesus With Us"

Our Vision Statement

Our vision at St. Matthew is to be a mission-focused church that serves people of all ages and ethnic groups within our community.  We will ecourage people to grow spiritually in Christ, with a greater focus on children, youth, and family ministries.  We will work to provide a facility that enriches the church as a center for worship and spiritual growth as well as community outreach.

Reminders

We as a congregation are part of the "Transforming Congregations Network".  This is a synodical process that helps revitalize congregations to be ever more mission focused.  In the fall of 2009, we entered into a consultation that gave us five prescriptions to work on over the next couple of years, including vision, outward focus, making connections to our community, structure, and leadership development (The Consultation Report can be read under the "Documents and Records" link on this webpage.)  We have recently adopted our Vision Statement.  Our Strategic Planning Team is working on goals to help us reach this vision.  Pray with us and join us in working toward this growing mission focus as a congregation!
